The Speaker waived the Finance Committee referral for the following                                 
at the request of Representative Williams, Co-chair:                                                
                                                                                                    
    HOUSE BILL NO. 164                                                                              
    "An Act prescribing the rights of grandparents related to child-in-                             
    need-of-aid hearings; and amending Rules 3, 7, 10, 15, and 19,                                  
    Alaska Child in Need of Aid Rules."                                                             
                                                                                                    
HB 164 was removed from the Finance Committee and is on today's                                     
calendar.
